US honours impressive Nigerian kids who created top-notch apps for disabled people


The US embassy in Nigeria has honoured some Nigerian students for their innovative skill in app technology


– The school children became winners of the 2019 Beyond School Community Challenge after creating an app that could help people with disability


– According to the consulate, the kids were able to reflect the embassy’s view of education as a tool to bettering other people’s lives


The United States embassy in Nigeria has honored some of the country’s whiz kids after they emerged winners of the 2019 Beyond School Community Challenge national social entrepreneurship competition.


The winning school children were under the team called Tech Dolphs as they designed an amazing app that could assist people living with disabilities. The embassy said it collaborated with the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria to organize the finals of the competition.
